The Oklahoma story plays out with all the drama of a plains thunderstorm, and the actors are as diverse as the ethnic groups who define us. The Cheyenne and Kiowa, the Irish, Czechoslovakian and Polish immigrants, the Mexican and Oriental people all move through our history and their descendants continue to carve out a rich heritage from the red clay soil, the shale, and the sand.
