Color printer–$1.50 per page (no exceptions)

If you wish to provide your own paper to print on, please ask the Library staff for approval before inserting into the copier/printer. There are no discounts for printing on your own paper.
If you need more than 50 copies of your documents, please alert the Library staff for accommodation. Bulk printing discounts may be available.
Please read the Library’s policies on copyright law and user rights and responsibilities.
We can fax documents during Library hours. Cost is $1.50 per side of page faxed.
Documents sent to the Library fax machine for pickup will be held for up to 24 hours unless otherwise arranged with Library staff. All unclaimed faxes will be shredded after 24 hours.
To pickup documents faxed to the Library, present a photo ID for verification. The person receiving faxed documents is responsible for paying for the fax before Library staff releases it unless other arrangements have been made.
We can scan documents and email documents during Library hours. Cost is $2.00 per side of page scanned and/or emailed.
If you are needing more than 5 documents scanned or emailed or you have documents larger than letter size, please alert the Library Director so an appointment can be arranged to complete the task.
The Brick has plenty of space to sit and enjoy a quiet lunch or to plug in while sipping a soda.
Pack a brown bag or pick up a tasty meal from one of Hennessey’s excellent cafes and enjoy lunch with us in the quiet of our WiFi cafe and used bookstore. Connect on the library’s wireless or enjoy a quick read, maybe even swap a title or two as you enjoy your indoor picnic. The Brick is open weekdays during Library hours.
Reserve The Brick (and Hospitality Center) for showers, reunions, book signings, and other gatherings. Food is always welcome! Learn more about how to reserve space in the Library with the Meeting Room Use Policy.
Whether the event is regional or local, the Friends of the Hennessey Library have a statewide reputation for hospitality, and The Brick is the perfect venue.
Friends of the Hennessey Library sponsors the used bookstore year-round with flash sales and blue light specials quarterly. Books are either donated or overflow from the Library shelves. All proceeds benefit the Library and its programming. Cash or checks only.

Need a meeting place? The Hennessey Public Library offers several options for free!
Reservations must be made by an adult (age 18 or older) representative of the group or organization; the exception is youth (ages 9-17) reserving a meeting area for a school-related activity. Any person who requests a meeting room must possess a valid Hennessey Public Library card unless otherwise approved by the Library Director. Submitting a Meeting Room Reservation Application (PDF download) does not guarantee use or date/time requested.
The individual or group/organization representative must initially fill out a Meeting Room Reservation Application (PDF download). This application will be kept on file and can be updated over the phone or via email for standing reservations.
Meeting rooms are booked on a first come, first served basis. Reservations must be made 48 hours prior to the meeting. Individuals, groups, or organizations may reserve meeting areas for one-time use, occasional use, or on a continuing basis.
Note that Library-related programs will always be given priority over standing reservations and the Library Director reserves the right to preempt or cancel reservations that conflict with Library programming. All efforts will be made to accommodate meeting room reservations.
Learn more about reserving meeting areas in the Library’s Meeting Room Use Policy.
NOTE: No food or drinks are permitted in the meeting areas–with the exception of The Brick–unless pre-approved by the Library Director.
The Ortman Auditorium has a proscenium stage with minimal lighting and a lower apron stage. A DVD compatible projector is available, but speakers should bring their own sound system and technician.
